In the event of inclement weather, Muskoka Wake will, in consultation with the customer, determine if it is safe to proceed with the lesson. If the lesson is cancelled due to unsafe conditions or mutually agreed upon inclement weather, Muskoka Wake will do its best to reschedule for different times during the same day and/or a following date. Should the booking be cancelled completely due to bad weather, including unsafe water conditions, you will not be held responsible for any of the costs of the lesson.

 

However, if the lesson is in progress, the weather turns unsafe, and the lesson must end early, if an hour or more is lost due to weather, the customer will be credited for the remaining time of the lesson. If less than one hour’s worth of time is lost, the full price of the lesson will still be charged.

 

Below are examples of, but not limited to, inclement weather

 

Torrential downpour of rain

Hail/Sleet

Unavoidable excessive and high winds

Thunder and lightning

 

As a rule of thumb, it is safe to assume that if we, Muskoka Wake and its staff, are not comfortable being out in the boat and on the water, neither should you. At this point, it can be assumed that the lesson will be canceled without penalty. Inclement weather does not include cool temperatures, light rain or drizzle, windy, or choppy water conditions.
